Chairs - Seating

Chairs are supported most often by four legs and have a back, however, a chair can even have three legs or can have a different shape from the usual armchair. A uniquely shaped chair is the classic ‘butterfly chair’ which while quite modern looking, is a design that dates back to 1938. The East Connection butterfly chair pays homage to the original with a solid steel frame and the classic leather seat.

Chairs are obviously not just limited to the lounge room though so East Connection also has a range of solid timber dining chairs. Recycled timber and reclaimed window shutter used as backrests are just some of the unique features of these chairs. Saeting options don’t have to be limited to chairs though, there are timber benches which are made from solid teak and some even feature leather upholstery and pressed brass detail that will add an ethnic flair to your home. Timber benches also come in more simple designs with just turned legs of a distressed paint finish adding a point of interest.
